Mojo Monday 284 Card

I needed to make a card for a dear friend who had her baby girl about a month ago. I haven't been able to meet her yet because I can't seem to keep my kids healthy long enough to go and visit, and I certainly don't want to give baby Penny any germs. I'm hoping that this card and a package will be substitute love until I can get to her in person!

Finally! I have a new camera and a way to post my pictures now. (A while back, I broke both my camera and my computer overheated in the same week!) I feel like the world is finally round again. :)

Fall / Winter CTMH Idea Book

Wow! Color me impressed. This new idea book is absolutely amazing and the best one so far if I do say so myself. I have made 3 layouts from the Elemental Paper Packet that are for my first scrapbooking workshop at the end of August. The papers were so easy to use and the layouts turned out great. From the leftover, I made 17 cards for my card workshop this Thursday, SEVENTEEN! I am very pleased with the changes to the paper that CTMH brought out in this latest idea book. I can't wait to play with my other goodies. It's going to be a fantastic and fun fall 2011! :)

The other two cards I have planned for the workshop this Thursday are with the Roxie papers and Dreamin' papers. I will post pictures on Thursday night after the fun. I think the hardest part is going to be figuring out what I have to buy in my next order! It all looks so yummy. haha

July 2011 Card Workshop

What was that I said about "not playing catch up"? Well that plan was great, until I broke my Nikon D40 camera last weekend. :( Yes, I am in mourning. Let's hope that Nikon can work their super powers and fix it up pretty for me. (Do you think they might add some bling too? That would be awesome!)

Anyway, I held my 2nd card workshop in July. I featured three of the paper packs that will be retiring at the end of July - Sweetheart, Wings & Miracle. Here are the cards that we made:

The reason for the two different Paper Lanterns cards? Well, I forgot to factor in annual convention when I placed my order and therefore, the goodies that I wanted for my card workshop did not arrive on time. uh-oh. Never fear, CTMH's wonderful products are easy to mix and match so a few simple changes and I was ready again! So, I decided to share both versions on my blog for fun. :)

Once again, I was pleased with the results and I think everyone had lots of fun. Enjoy!

My 1st Card Workshop

I am playing a little bit of catch up on my blog, which I hope not to have to do in the future. :)

I joined CTMH in May 2011, and I am so glad to officially be a part of the CTMH family after using the products for almost 6 years now!

I held my first card workshop on June 11th and it was a success! The best part of the experience was having my brother show up, and he made all of the cards! How cool is that!?

So here are the cards that we made:

My 1st Heart to Heart Challenge!

I have been considering the Heart 2 Heart Challenge for a while. When I saw this week's design, I knew immediately what I wanted to do ~ a Valentine's card for my honey. However, I wanted to challenge myself to do it somewhat less traditional, and a little 'manly'. I did pretty good until I let the Blush pink sneak in at the last minute! But what is Valentine's Day without a little pink!? :)

Birthdays!

I made these (belated) birthday cards tonight for two of my favorite little ladies! Okay maybe they aren't so little anymore... I wanted to make them similar but not exact. On the 2nd card, nothing I tried looked right, so I just left it simple. Since I had the extra heart with wings, I added it as a 2nd layer to make the wings look like they really are 'flying off the paper'.
